Study a Graduate Certificate

It is common to apply for a graduate certificate if you looking to broaden the skills and knowledge you’ve already gained from an undergraduate degree, or develop vocational skills in a new area? In some cases relevant work experience may be recognised and is a great entry point for those with work experience but no prior degree. It also enables you achieve a qualification in a short space of time and can be completed within 6 months to a year dependant on whether you are a full time or part time student.

Entry Requirements

Applicants usually require a bachelor degree, but in certain cases, relevant work experience may be recognised.

Duration

Six months full-time or part-time equivalent.

Graduate Diploma

Postgraduate Diploma

Do you have a Bachelor degree in a particular discipline and want to further your studies in the same area? A Postgraduate Diploma could be the right option for you.

Is your goal to enhance your professional skills or acquire a deeper understanding of a specific area of knowledge? A Master degree could be what you’re looking for, enabling you to combine coursework and/or project work and research in varying combinations. Students undertaking a Master by Coursework are offered a high level of tutorial advice and study guidance.

Entry Requirements

Entry is normally based on a Bachelor degree, Honours degree or Graduate Diploma. If you lack formal qualifications but possess relevant experience, you may be eligible to enrol in a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma. Provided your performance meets the required standard, you can then qualify for admission to a Master by coursework.

Duration

Varies due to the range of entry pathways, but most require between 18 months and two years full-time or part-time equivalent.
