CBS Wesfarmers Society

Smiling girl at meeting

In recognition of our students that display exceptional academic performance over the first two years of their undergraduate degree, Curtin Business School created the CBS Wesfarmers Society, an initiative, launched officially in 2015.

The purpose of the CBS Wesfarmers Society is to reward and encourage high-achieving Bachelor of Commerce students with events and opportunities to further their exposure to and connection with, industry professionals.

Over the course of the year members will be invited to attend a number of networking functions and industry focused sessions with influential business leaders, along with professional development sessions. Members will also have the potential to be nominated for unique opportunities to connect with prominent Industry Leaders and CBS Alumni.

The Society’s programs aim to separate members from their graduating peers by building on academic performance and furthering members employability through work with Curtin Careers Centre and Curtin Leadership Centre.

Eligible students who join must attend at least 50% of the Society specific functions to receive recognition of membership over the academic year.
