Learning and Teaching
My principle goal as Dean Learning and Teaching in Curtin Business School (CBS) is to create a learning environment that helps develop student learning and development. This will be achieved by developing lifelong learning partnerships between students, staff, alumni and the international business community.
In pursuit of this, CBS Learning and Teaching promotes and supports continuous improvement in learning and teaching and leads the implementation of relevant University and CBS strategic initiatives. We manage CBS learning and teaching support structures, liaise between central and CBS learning and teaching bodies, and represent CBS at University forums.
Curtin University provides quality learning and teaching resources on the Curtin Learning and Teaching website. The Learning and Teaching Handbook [.pdf 4.7 MB] is an essential starting point for anyone involved in helping students to learn at Curtin and ensuring Curtin students have high quality learning experiences. The Assessment and Progression Manual contains all the policies and procedures related to assessment and student progression at Curtin and the Academic Integrity Website outlines Curtin’s procedures for dealing with plagiarism. Both the student and staff booklets are found at this website.
