2014 Australasian Trade Workshop
The Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre is delighted to co-host the 9th Annual Australasian Trade Workshop with the School of Economics and Finance, Curtin Business School and the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law, School of Economics, La Trobe University, on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 March 2014 at The Esplanade Hotel by Rydges in historic Fremantle.

We are excited to announce that Professor Peter Egger, Professor of Applied Economics from ETZ Zurich and Professor Tony Venables, BP Professor of Economics and Director, Centre for the Analysis of Resource Rich Economies (OxCarre), University of Oxford will be our esteemed keynote speakers.
PhD Best Paper:
A prize of AUD1000 will be awarded to the best paper presented at the worked by a currently enrolled PhD student.

ATW2014 will be taking place at The Esplanade Hotel by Rydges in historic Fremantle right by the beautiful Indian Ocean. Renowned as Western Australia’s premier tourist destination, Fremantle is rich in history, culture and tradition.

Although the submission deadline has passed, we are still accepting registrations to attend the workshop. There is no fee to attend, however delegates are required to register their attendance for catering and organisational purposes using through the ATW registration page.
Delegates will be responsible for organising their own travel and accommodation for the duration of the workshop. Unfortunately we are not able to offer financial assistance to participants.
An optional workshop dinner will be held on Friday 21 March at a nearby restaurant at a cost of approximately $100pp. Partners are welcome to attend. Please indicate your intention to attend the dinner by emailing Nadia Nelson.
