Our work in both Behavioural and Quantitative Finance has had a particular focus on asset pricing issues.

The department’s research is supported through subscriptions to major databases.  We subscribe to CRSP, Compustat, IBES through WRDS.  We are a member of SIRCA; we have utilized the Thomson Reuters News Analytics database in a number of studies relating to investor sentiment.  We also have access to Datastream and Bloomberg.

In addition to our faculty, we have a number of PhD students working and publishing in our core areas of expertise.

Members of the department have recently published in the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of Corporate Finance and the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control.
