Ms Sheryl Fewster
Sheryl Fewster is a senior public relations, marketing and communications practitioner currently with WA Health Department as Director of Communications.
Sheryl has held similar positions within State Government namely Department for Communities, Tourism WA and Department of Training and Employment. Sheryl served as a Ministerial appointment on a Government Board, the WA Potato Marketing Authority, and worked as a sessional Public Relations tutor at a WA university.
Sheryl is a graduate of Curtin University where she completed a journalism degree at WA Institute of Technology (1975 to 1978). She pursued a journalism career in Perth and London before going into public affairs. Her first position outside of journalism in the mid-80s was as the WA State Manager for Public Relations and Advertising for Elders IXL.
Sheryl is a Fellow, Public Relations Institute of Australia; the WA consumer representative on the Australia New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group; a former WA President of Public Relations Institute of Australia, and a consumer representative on the WA Familial Cancer Committee.
